[News] SMTOWN Live may make a stop in Taiwan during the second half of 2012

the past year, SM Entertainment has been making progress in expanding its SMTOWN Live World Tour, making stops in the United States, China, Japan, and France. More and more fans from around the globe have been organizing activities such as flash mobs and Twitter trends in hopes of attracting the tour to their own countries and cities. In particular, Taiwan has been a place which has been fully invaded by the Hallyu wave in the past couple of years, and Taiwanese fans have been patiently waiting for SMTOWN to make a stop. Recently, the concert organizer for many K-Pop concerts in Taiwan has finally indicated that SMTOWN will likely make a stop in Taiwan during the second half of 2012!

Super Dome, the organizer who planned concerts for groups such as Super Junior, SHINee, and Girls’ Generation, stated, “In terms of SMTOWN, it was originally scheduled to take place in December 2011. The artists’ schedules were blocked off for the event, but we were waiting for availability at an appropriate venue. At the end, the wait was too long and the artists’ schedules had to be freed up, and the venue ended up being available two to three weeks after that. When we went to Korea for a meeting, we discussed the issue in regards to SMTOWN once again. It was difficult to work out a time for the first half of 2012 due to the artists’ and venue’s availability, so we are looking at scheduling the concert in Taiwan within the second half of 2012.”

For the fans that can’t wait to see SMTOWN Live, they will be able to see the show in theatres soon, as SM Entertainment has planned on releasing footage of SMTOWN Live in New York in the form of a movie during the first half of 2012.

[NEWS] 111206 SMTown Winter album “The Warmest Gift” out on December 13

The 2011 SMTOWN Winter album ‘The Warmest Gift’ will be available on December 13th. This will be the first winter album released since their 2007 one from 4 years ago. SM artists collaborated in this winter album such as Kangta, BoA, DBSK, The TRAX, CSJH Dana & Sunday, Super Junior, SNSD, SHINee, f(x), Zhang Liyin and J-min. This album includes 7 new songs plus additional remake Christmas songs.

[NEWS] 111205 Key proudly shows off SHINee’s Barcelona travel book

A few weeks back, SM Entertainment revealed that SHINee‘s Key, Onew, and Taemin were about to publish a book based on their travels in Barcelona, Spain.

On December 5th, Key updated the boys’ official me2day with a physical copy of the book (entitled “Sons of the Sun“) in his hand! He wrote, “Our book is out!!!!! ! Look at all the pictures that we took and and many pictures that Key took! See you at the bookstore keke”

In the photos, Key holds up an autographed copy of his brand-new book, which is sure to sell out wherever sold. “Sons of the Sun” will include the members’ photos and stories from their time in Barcelona, as well as suggestions on where to eat. It’s targeted for readers who enjoy travelling, and for SHINee fans who would like to get a glimpse into the members’ personal experiences.
