Rcently a snippet of a SHINee interview featuring Taemin, Key and Onew during their “Sons of the Sun” promotions has gained a lot of attention. In it the members are discussing the beautiful beaches of Barcelona and Taemin is describing them as fun, then suddenly he says “nude beach“. In the video you can clearly see the great surprise of Key and Onew, who look questioningly at Taemin before regaining their mien. “Nude Beach ??????? When? We didn’t go there!!” says Key as he laughs at his dongsaeng’s funny statement while Taemin tries to clear the misunderstanding by muttering “ah… beach”. All the while leader Onew is quietly smiling on his seat.
Now, the netizens have come up with two theories to explain why Taemin cam up with the “nude beach” thing.
1. Cultural shock
In Europe, when at the beach, you can often spot topless women or people in general wearing extremely small swimsuits and it’s pretty normal, while in Korea people don’t expose themselves as much, so what looked to Taemin as nude, wasn’t really so.

2.SHINee really went to the nude beach and Taemin forgot to watch what he was saying, letting Key’s, Onew’s and his naughty trip slip his tongue.
